With a slogan like “Choose, Get Chose” this month dating app “bae.” launched and is available both on iTunes and Google Play. Very similar to Tinder, this dating app is curated for people of color, but don’t worry if you’re don’t fall into the category of a person of color, but just so happen to love us we don’t discriminate!

The word Bae surfaced around 2013 which is actually an acronym for “Before Anyone Else” and is often used to as a term of endearment for your significant other. Even though Bae is open for everyone there are some requirements that you must meet in order to use the app: you must be over the age of 17, you must have a Facebook account, and you must be able to use the app in the US via a US mobile phone.

Bae uses your Facebook to validate your identity and to connect you with others who have similar likes as you. It is still a growing community, so don’t worry if you don’t find a match right away. It’s been up and running for only a week now.

If you are interested in trying “bae” feel free to download it on iTunes as well as Google Play
